Impulse Delay helps you pause before you buy. We believe in privacy-first design: by default, your
waiting list lives on your device and is never sent anywhere else.
Data we collect
Account information (optional). If you create an account, we store your email address and a hashed password to let you sign in on other devices.
Waiting-list content (optional). If you sign in, your saved items (title, price, URL, image, category, timestamps) sync to our server so you can restore them on other devices.
Anonymous usage analytics. We record app-open events, session starts and anonymous action counts (e.g. "item_skipped") so we can fix bugs and improve the product. These events are tied to a random device ID, not to you.
Data we do NOT collect
No location data.
No contacts, photos, microphone, or camera access.
No advertising identifiers or third-party ad tracking.
No payment information (the app has no real payments today).
How we use product URLs
When you paste a product link, we fetch the public page and extract the title, price and image so
you can see what you're waiting on. The link is not shared with anyone else.
Where your data is stored
Local data is kept in your device's secure app storage. If you sign in, synced data is stored on
MongoDB infrastructure in the United States. All traffic uses HTTPS.
Your rights (including deletion)
You can delete everything at any time:
Tap Settings → Reset All Data to wipe your device copy.
Tap Settings → Delete my account (while signed in) to permanently erase your account and all synced items from our servers. This is immediate and irreversible.
You can also email [email protected] and we will complete the deletion for you within 30 days.
Children
Impulse Delay is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will update the "Last updated" date above when
we make changes.
